Position Overview:

Hurricane Capital is seeking a dynamic Systems and Process Lead to bridge the gap between operations and systems development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing operational processes and driving automation initiatives within our multi-manager hedge fund platform. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong experience in project management, systems integration, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization: Identify, analyze, and optimize operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk. Collaborate with operations teams to identify bottlenecks and recommend automation solutions.
• Systems Integration: Work closely with systems developers to oversee the integration of complex software systems, ensuring alignment with operational needs and business objectives.
• Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management for systems development and process improvement initiatives, from conception to deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the key liaison between operations and IT teams to facilitate effective communication, requirements gathering, and problem-solving for system enhancements.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with system development and integration projects, working proactively to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Change Management: Coordinate the implementation of new processes, systems, and technologies, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions to daily operations.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor system performance and identify areas for further optimization.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Oversee testing phases for new system implementations, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure system changes meet operational requirements.
• Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training for end-users and create comprehensive documentation to support process and system changes.
• Continuous Improvement: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in hedge fund operations, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance platform capabilities.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience: Experience in systems integration, process optimization, and project management
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of software systems integration, automation tools, and process optimization techniques.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex, large-scale projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to translate complex operational requirements into actionable systems solutions, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
