Portfolio Services: Senior Trader

Andy Tobias is a member of the Portfolio Services team and a Senior Trader on the Hurricane centralized Trading desk.

Andy has over 20 years of experience as a buy side trader. Prior to joining Hurricane in 2021, Andy served as the Head Trader at Ailanthus Capital, Shannon River Partners and TCS Capital, where he was primarily responsible for the execution trading, technical analysis, maintenance of sell side relationships and managing of other traders at those firms. Andy previously worked in commercial real estate at Marcus & Millichap, and as an attorney at Fisk, Katz, Cart & Regan, in Chicago, focusing on real estate and real estate tax law.

Andy holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, and a JD from the DePaul College of Law.
