Head of EMEA

Based in London, Roy Martins serves as the Head of EMEA for Hurricane Capital. Over the last 30 years, Roy has built market-leading businesses across all asset classes in the alternative investment space at Morgan Stanley (1995-2007 where he ran EMEA Financing Products), Credit Suisse (2007-14 running Prime Services EMEA/Global Financing Products), Bank of America Merrill Lynch (2014-18 managing EMEA Equity/Global Delta One Sales), Mizuho (2019-22 overseeing EMEA Markets Sales/Client Relationship Management) and most recently PGIM Wadhwani (Chief Business Officer).  He holds a BSc from King’s College London and an MBA from London Business School/The Wharton School.  Roy was also Chair of Pratham UK, an Indian children’s education charity in recognition of which he was asked to carry the Olympic Torch in 2012.
